Meng Zhao (Ph.D.), Associate Professor in Organization and Strategy, Business School, Renmin University of China  and Director, Yunus Center for Social Business & Microfinance, Renmin University of China (YCRUC) has recently visited the Yunus Centre and several Grameen organizations in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Meng is working on developing a Social Business course at his university with avenue for students to learn from practice of social businesses. During the visit, Dr. Meng had a discussion with Nobel Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus at Yunus Centre sharing the details of the course development.

He also met with senior officials of various Grameen organizations discussing their challenges and progresses that happen in real time. Dr. Meng said about the trip “My trip was very productive, way beyond my expectations, since every colleague I talked with was passionate about what they do and was open enought to share good and bad news”.
